About Me

About Me? The thought of trying to describe myself is somewhat less than appealing. Who ever knows what to say? I am not the autobiography type, and would rather have my friends cover this topic for me. Generally speaking, though, I’ll come out of the gate with this. I love the Lord and am continually amazed to see the ways (some subtle and some miraculous) that Christ has changed my life. My prayer is that He never tires of this sanctification process in me, even though sometimes I resist by way of complacency or hard-heartedness. When all is said and done, I know that the path He chooses for me is the right one, even if it may seem unfavorable at times. As to personality, I guess I would classify myself as a fun-loving person, even if I do keep to myself more than I used to. I can indulge in a party with friends most anytime, but have learned the benefit of peace and quiet, too. I agree with ee cummings who said, “The most wasted of all days is one without laughter,” and therefore do not like to pass a day (or an hour if I can help it) without a good laugh. To my wonderful Christian friends: I love you madly and am continually blessed by the encouragement that you lavish daily upon me. The bond that we share as brothers and sisters in Christ really does resonate like family to me. And to each of you who has offered a hand, a shoulder, or an inspired Word to me…thank you for letting the Lord show His love through you to me. Even though I sometimes keep to myself and you don’t hear from me as often as you should, know that I value you highly and don’t take your love for granted. My prayer is that the Lord continues to shine His light on your lives and that you make a great impact on His Kingdom. And as I understand the difference between being in the world and of the world, I have had the great pleasure of knowing so many awesome individuals who may not share the same faith as me. Still, you have made an indelible imprint on my life and I am so thankful for you. My prayer for you is that you discover the abundant life that God has planned for you.
